The Greater Kruger Tshukudu Safari (3 Days) TSH003

Tshukudu Game Reserve| Kruger Private Reserves| Kruger National Park| South Africa| Africa

Overview

Introduction

The Kruger National Park and the Greater Kruger are next-door neighbours located in the far north-eastern corner of South Africa and are two of the country’s most popular ecotourism destinations. Individually; one is the oldest and largest national park in South Africa and the other is an amalgamation of private game reserves that collectively form a vast protected conservation area that lies adjacent to the Kruger Park. Combined; Kruger National Park and Greater Kruger represent one of the finest and most diverse biospheres in Africa. The vast protected wilderness region is the core of the Kruger2Canyons (K2C) and Vhembe UNESCO Man and Biospheres, and the heart of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area (GLTP Treaty, 2002). This is where you will find the Big 5. With 3 guided game drives and 5 meals with gratuities among the benefits included, and no supplemental fee for single travellers, this will be the trip of a lifetime. And you can choose any week of the year to visit.

Day 2

Tshukudu Private Game Reserve is home to some of the most endangered wildlife in Africa - lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. Other, but equally fascinating wildlife, such as the shy, spiral-horned nyala, and the not-so-shy vervet monkeys are only 2 of the myriad of species that live in the environs of Tshukudu Private Game Reserve. It’s a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, not to mention twitchers. Apart from the four-legged creatures, there are 477 species of birds in the Greater Kruger area, from Little Grebes to Goliath Herons, Pink-backed Pelicans to Lappet Faced Vultures, as well sparrow hawks, falcons and quail. After your sunrise game drive and brunch, you will have the rest of the afternoon to yourself. A delicious High Tea before your first sunset game drive is the perfect introduction to life, sophisticated and wild, at Tshukudu. You will have plenty of time once you return to the Lodge to freshen up before dinner.
Overnight: Tshukudu Game Lodge or similar
