Today you explore South Africa’s oldest tourist attraction, the Cango Caves, located in the foothills of the Swartberg Mountain range - the first tour was conducted here in 1891. Situated in a limestone ridge (Precambrian), its dripstone caves, massive halls and towering limestone formations in a variety of colours, makes the Cango Caves one of the Seven Wonders of Southern Africa. You will then tour High Gate Ostrich Farm's main yard and farmlands. You will also interact with the world’s largest bird, with the largest eggs and most beautiful feathers and eyes before lunch. You end your journey today in The Crags near Plettenberg Bay. Two hours of that three-hour journey is spent on the Garden Route, arguably one of the world’s most spectacular drives. Please feel free to ask your guide to pause along the way. You will be stopping in Knysna and your guide will give you an orientation tour before dinner on the water in Knysna after which you will be taken to check-in at your hotel.
